Minnesota Vikings Sign TE Marshall Lang & DL Jahvaree Ritzie

The Minnesota Vikings have made significant roster moves as they close their offseason workout program, signing tight end Marshall Lang and defensive lineman Jahvaree Ritzie. The team announced these signings on Tuesday, adding depth to their tight end and defensive line positions. Marshall Lang, a 24-year-old from Cincinnati, previously played for Northwestern, where he recorded 48 catches for 491 yards and four touchdowns over five years. He joins a tight end room that includes notable players like T.J. Hockenson and Josh Oliver. Meanwhile, Jahvaree Ritzie, a 23-year-old defensive lineman, stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 290 pounds. He has a strong collegiate background, having started all 12 games for North Carolina in 2024, where he tallied 40 tackles and 6.5 sacks. The Vikings also waived tackle Caleb Etienne and undrafted rookie defensive lineman Monkell Goodwine as part of these roster adjustments. These moves reflect the Vikings' strategy to enhance their team ahead of the upcoming season.
